Welcome to Premiere.Studio
Premiere.Studio is a professional screenwriting platform built for film and television. It gives you industry-standard formatting, real-time collaboration, AI writing tools, and production features all in one place.
Whether you're writing your first short film or managing a full TV series room, Premiere.Studio is designed to stay out of your way and let you focus on the story.
What you can do
- Write in proper format. Screenplay elements like scene headings, action, character names, and dialogue are formatted automatically as you type.
- Collaborate in real time. Invite collaborators to write together, leave comments on specific lines, and suggest edits without overwriting each other's work.
- Use AI as a writing partner. Get autocomplete suggestions, generate scenes from your outline, and shape the AI's voice to match your style.
- Export for production. Print to PDF, export to Final Draft (FDX) or Fountain, and use production tools like locked pages, scene management, and script reports.
The three main areas
Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home base. It shows all your projects (films and TV series), lets you create new ones, and gives you access to your account settings. You can filter by project type and manage sharing from here.

Editor
The Editor is where you write. It has several modes you can switch between:
- Write is your main writing view. This is a full screenplay editor with automatic formatting, a left panel for scenes and characters, and a right panel for the AI assistant, comments, suggestions, and versions.
- Outline lets you plan your story as scenes, grouped under sequences and acts, before you start writing pages.
- Preview shows your script as it will look on the printed page, with proper pagination and page breaks.
You can also switch to Script Cards for a corkboard of the scenes already in your script, or use Table Read mode, a full-screen, large-type view for reading your script aloud with others.
Settings and Profile
From the Dashboard, you can access your profile to update your name and preferences, and your membership page to manage your plan and billing.
How the app works
When you open Premiere.Studio, you start at the Dashboard. From there, you create or open a project, which takes you into the Editor. Everything saves automatically as you type. If you're working with collaborators, changes appear in real time for everyone.
The app works entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. Sign in on any computer and your projects are there.
