Billing questions
What does the Free plan include?
Free gives you the editor with full screenplay formatting, two projects and live collaboration, with no card on file. It includes no monthly AI credits: add a one-time credit pack whenever you want to use the AI, or move to a paid plan for a monthly allowance.
What are AI credits?
The AI features spend credits, and a bigger job spends more: a line of dialogue costs far less than a whole scene, and a full script costs the most. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance that resets at the start of every calendar month (UTC), and the Studio shows how many you have left.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Buy a one-time credit pack. Packs are available on every plan, Free included, and they don't change your plan. Pack credits are spent after your monthly allowance and never expire. To keep balances sensible, a purchase that would take your unused pack credits above 7,500 is declined.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, at any time. An upgrade takes effect straight away, and you're charged the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period. A downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep everything until then.
Do my co-writers need a paid plan?
No. Collaboration has no seat count and no member limit on any plan, so the people you invite to write with you can join with a free account.
How am I billed?
Plans are billed monthly, per writer, in US dollars. Payments are handled by an industry-standard payment processor; Premiere.Studio never sees or stores your card number.
